Medicine intent, tools, and ceremony are combined to assist the participants in realizing their own ceremony. Abalone shells will be distributed for decoration and use in this activity. A purification ceremony will highlight this session
One hour session

3. Participatory group interaction with drumming, chanting, and rattles

Each participant will be matched with a drum and instructions on proper carriage. The focus will be a complete ceremonial experience.
A traditional circle and earth touch format will be observed while the oratory emphasizes the sacredness of the traditional sounds. The first two drummings will follow movements, progression limited only by the desires of the participants. A breathing exercise will breakup the two sessions.

As a preparation for storytelling, participants visualize the spiritual aspects they wish to manifest, and create that image through traditional face painting, using the natural colors found in earth.
